Chase Infiniti Biography: Early Life and the Name Behind the Name

Most Chase Infiniti age height parents movies searches start with the name itself, because it genuinely is a story. Born Chase Infiniti Payne on May 1, 2000, in Indianapolis, Indiana, she was named “Chase” after Chase Meridian, Nicole Kidman’s character in Batman Forever, and “Infiniti” after Buzz Lightyear’s line “to infinity and beyond” from Toy Story. Her parents picked two pieces of 1990s pop culture and built a name around them, unknowingly setting her up for a career that would eventually feel almost as cinematic.

She discovered performing at age ten, when her mother encouraged her to audition for a school musical. Infiniti has since described it as the best decision she never actually made herself — someone else pushed her toward the stage, and she simply never left it.

Her Parents and a House Full of Music

Her parents rarely get mentioned in the usual rundown of Chase Infiniti’s age, height, and movie credits — which is a mistake. Her father, Keith Payne, owns a construction and remodeling company and once played drums in a jazz band, meaning the house she grew up in was rarely quiet. Her mother, Kim Payne, of English, German, and Scots-Irish descent, was the one who regularly took Chase and her younger sister, Dolcé, to musicals and plays around the city.

That combination — a father who filled the home with rhythm, a mother who filled it with theatre — reads less like coincidence and more like the exact environment that produces someone who ends up doing both.

Education and Learning the Craft

It’s a detail most Chase Infiniti age height parents movies write-ups skip entirely: Infiniti attended the International School of Indiana, a French-immersion program, before transferring to North Central High School, where she got serious about theatre and music programs. She went on to Columbia College Chicago, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre in 2022 — formal training that most people assumed, wrongly, she’d skipped once her film career took off overnight.

Height, and Why It Barely Comes Up

How tall is she, exactly? At roughly 5 feet 3 inches (160 cm), Chase Infiniti is on the shorter side for a leading actress, though some casting materials have listed her slightly taller, closer to 5 feet 7 inches — the kind of small discrepancy that’s common when official measurements and public estimates don’t quite agree. What’s notable is how little it’s mattered to her casting so far: her breakout role required presence and intensity, not stature, and directors clearly didn’t treat it as a limiting factor. It’s exactly this kind of small, easy-to-miss detail that a proper Chase Infiniti age height parents movies profile is supposed to catch.

Presumed Innocent: Her First Real Break

Before Hollywood knew her name — before any “Chase Infiniti age height parents movies” search returned much of anything — she landed a role in Apple TV+’s legal thriller Presumed Innocent in 2024, playing Jaden Sabich across eight episodes. It wasn’t a lead role, but it put her on a real set, working alongside experienced actors, and gave her the first meaningful credibility line on a résumé that had mostly consisted of student productions until then.

One Battle After Another: The Self-Tape That Changed Everything

What happens next sounds almost too efficient to be real. While she was still on set filming Presumed Innocent in 2024, Infiniti sent a self-tape audition for Paul Thomas Anderson’s next film. After a single in-person session with the director — reportedly involving karate, of all things — she landed the role of Willa, the daughter of Bob Ferguson (Leonardo DiCaprio) and Perfidia (Teyana Taylor), in One Battle After Another (2025).

It was her first-ever film role, and it was a lead role, in a Paul Thomas Anderson film, opposite Leonardo DiCaprio. Most actors spend a decade working toward a credit like that. Infiniti got there before she’d finished her first real TV job.

The Oscar Snub That Became Its Own Story

Search Chase Infiniti age height parents movies today and one storyline dominates everything else: by any normal measure, 2026 awards season was a triumph for Infiniti — Golden Globe, BAFTA, Critics Choice, and AACTA nominations, plus a National Board of Review win. The one prize that didn’t come was an Academy Award nomination, and its absence generated more headlines than most actual nominations do.

Leonardo DiCaprio, her on-screen father in the film, told the Associated Press directly that Infiniti was the “heart and soul” of One Battle After Another — a rare, pointed defense from a co-star of her stature. Weeks later, BAFTA nominated her for Best Leading Actress anyway, a result widely read as the industry publicly correcting what the Oscars had missed.

Chase Infiniti’s Net Worth

Money is the one category where an obvious caveat applies to any Chase Infiniti age height parents movies rundown: she’s extremely early in her career, and published estimates reflect that. Figures currently range from around $500,000 to $2 million, drawn mostly from her television salary on Presumed Innocent and The Testaments, plus her fee for One Battle After Another.

Given the awards attention and the DiCaprio-backed profile boost, that number is one of the more likely to shift significantly over the next year or two, as bigger roles and brand deals typically follow this kind of breakout run rather than precede it.

What’s Next for Chase Infiniti

With The Testaments already earning her a Gotham TV Award and a slot in BAFTA’s official “Breakthrough U.S.” cohort, Infiniti’s next few years look less like a debut and more like a confirmation. The real test now is whether the roles that follow match the scale of the one that introduced her — a lead part in a Paul Thomas Anderson film is a difficult bar to clear twice, but it’s also exactly the kind of pressure an actress with a decade of theatre training behind her seems built to handle.

Chase Infiniti Biography: Final Takeaway

Strip away the awards-season noise and the Oscar controversy, and this Chase Infiniti age height parents movies story is really about how little runway some careers actually need.
